    Bio:
Malakhim itself was only born in the last few months, although i have been in music from a young age. I suppose it all started from my mum, who has played piano all her life. There were many days spent at home singing while she played. Then when attending Junior School, I started as many children do by learning the recorder and then the Flute. I sang in the school choirs and played in the school bands.
I took my exams for the flute and passed up to Grade 8, which led me on to play in the City Orchestra.
Music being in the families genes, I can remember many a Sunday afternoon after attending church, spent listening to dads records and singing away.
I also sang and played flute in our local church Gospel Group called Shalom. We went into the studio and recorded two music tapes as they were then, which raised funds for our local church. We performed at many places around the city.
Having had music in my life from being young, nothing has changed to date. I have many instruments dotted around the house including, recorders, ocarina, penny whistle, keyboards, mandolin and native american flute.I always have music playing and feel music is the voice of the soul. I enjoy being an internet DJ for awesomeradio.net and indieshowcase.net.
Which brings us up to date and the creation of Malakhim. I had mentioned to my dad at the beginning of the year, about how I would love to record a cd in a studio. He encouraged me to fulfil my desires offering to pay for the studio, as dads do. Unfortunately a six month battle with cancer, took him away from us, in June of this year. My dad adored one specific song (The Rose) he heard a couple of years ago, so much so that he carried the lyrics in his wallet constantly. Whenever the song was played, out came his sheet of paper and he sang along. I had already recorded this song just at home with the help of Ian my hubby on our pc for awesomeradios karaoke night.
When it came to his funeral, mum asked me if we could use the recording I had done. Which duly happened, from this many people adored the song and wanted to know who was singing it and how to get it. At this point the idea of recording a cd in a studio popped up again.
My dad had already begun organising ventures to raise money for the local prostate cancer group. Sadly he never made it to the charity dance he had organised for 3rd July. We had promised him, it would go ahead, no matter happened, which it duly did. It was a huge success, which raised £1500.00.
So I wanted to continue dads work, in raising the money for his chosen charity, which is the Humber Urology Research Trust Fund.
Hence this debut cd which is called Heaven Scent. A little play on words as although dad was not here, to experience this with us, it was heaven sent. We changed it to scent, for the love of his favourite song "The Rose" and a roses perfume.
