Rays Around The Sun has been embraced worldwide. Juliet Gough hails from a very proud Copenhagen Denmark. She has shown her passion for music, loyality to the lyric and inventive nature with this Rays Around The Sun album. Juliet, soft and sultry at times, strong and sensual always. Genres touching on folk but more than kissing pop. I love her free form and lyrics in these songs. The arrangements are an unqualified success. Instrumentation by this wonderful band is exceptional. They have raised the bar for sure. Each instrument impeccable.

Juliet is comfortable with upbeat pop style tracks as well as ballads. She is not easily boxed into a genre. Leaving her direction wide open for upcoming albums. Her voice is unique and addictive. Rays around the sun is very generous with 12 tracks, none the same as the one before, leaving us without the need to skip ahead. You will love the entire album.

With cutting edge vocal styles Juliet has us mesmerized. Juliet Gough has it all going on, looks, style and a brilliant voice.

The three tracks chosen to single out are:

1) - Knight of the wands this track has an exotic feel with a hypnotic beat. Intrumentation is perfection in motion. Her lyrics take you on a journey within its orchestration. Juliet is forging a path here. Merging several musical styles resulting in a magnificent song. Modern, fresh and highly recommended. Gorgeous.

2) - (Title Track) Ray around the sun. This is an upbeat tempo song ringing of hope and love. Juliet Gough shows her expertise on the lyrics and vocal pitch. She incorporated harmonies through out the track that brings the song to a new level. Well thought out intrumentation brings this song to one of my favorites.

3) Sea Girl - Juliet has you wrapped around her finger with Sea Girl. It is a soft and enticing song. It showcases Juliet's ability vocally to immerse the listener deep within the beat and an alluring instrumentation. Her gorgeous voice will leave an imprint in your mind. She will own you.

Juliet Gough "Rays Around The Sun" is a must have. This album will not dissappoint you with it's colorful and diverse songs. Juliet has given us a gift that will be enjoyed for years to come. Do check it out for yourself. Simply delicious.
